Where we're going, you don't need eyes to see. So there's no sense in burdening myself with the extra weight.

    Knowing
Aliens forecasting the end of the world find it relevant to include comparatively minor plane and train crashes which will all be made redundant by the solar flare anyways.

      Transporter 3
Every audience wants to hear about what some European girl had for dinner last night, when watching an action movie. Multiple times.

        Spider-Man 2
The best place to test a prototype reactor is inside a building in the middle of a densely populated metropolis with a bunch of news reporters, rather than in the desert with teams of highly trained scientists.

          Serenity
It is best to test a previously untested drug on a colony of thousands of people, rather than a small and controllable test group of 20 death row inmates. That way you can find out if it kills/drives them crazy.

            Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
When launching a surprise attack on American fleets, be sure not to attack the ship with the railgun that can actually kill you.

The 20,000 Na'vi already amassed will undoubtedly overrun the perimeter, as traditional military rules of the defenders having an advantage does not apply to fortified compounds protected by an air fleet still at full strength and surrounded by a vast asphalt killing field.

Key aspects of a bombing operation include: 1. Deploying ground troops in a hostile and claustrophobic jungle for no reason. 2. Using an incredibly slow, clunky, and vulnerable bomber that moves at half a mile per hour and has an open hangar bay. 3. Manually pushing the explosives out, like its 1914 all over again.

Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith
In an advanced society, the pinnacle of entertainment and the pastime of senators and Sith Lords alike is to watch floating goldfish things go between levitating bubbles.

Star Wars: The Attack of the Clones
An army of clones always comes bundled with trillions of credits worth of armour, weapons, walkers, and capital ships.
